About Tricia Schulte, Cultivating Leaders

Tricia Schulte, Cultivating LeadersCultivating Leaders came out of my commitment to coach those who are making the world a better place. My goal is to support them, so they can continue to do their good work.

I believe that happy, satisfied leaders perform at their best, have the most impact, and inspire those they lead to become excellent leaders. Many of my clients have come to me because they are burned out, want work/life balance, productive relationships, and want their work to leave them feeling energized rather than depleted. My approach is to help individuals replenish and balance their lives and to teach them success strategies and coaching techniques they can use to lead and inspire those around them.

I’ve been a professional life coach since 2004. My training includes completion of the Life Coaching from Falling Awake, a fifteen month training program accredited by the Internernational Coach Federation (ICF), and ongoing training through One to One, Women Coaching Women as well as peer-led continuing education.

I am in the process of earning my ICF certification, and expect to receive this in 2008.

Prior to coaching, I was a non-profit consultant and educator. I hold a master’s degree in history from the University of Pittsburgh. I  am married to a cultural anthropologist, have two daughters, and divide my time between St. Paul, Minnesota and Walla Walla, Washington.

One to One is a national non-profit organization that provides coaching to low-income women who demonstrate leadership attributes. I have been donating my time to this organization for the past two years. I have also received ongoing coaches training through One to One, and have taught teleconference classes to their clients.

Changing the Culture of Work
I am committed to creating change in the work world so that work environments become places where people have autonomy and support, and are able to meet challenges creatively while increasing their satisfaction and productivity. In an effort to promote this, I provide work-place training to help people create work/life balance and am now working with a group of fabulous women to create workshops and retreats to facilitate changes in the way work, works.

My experience with Tricia was remarkable. I had tried counseling and self-help books with little success and was dispirited about my future. In only a few short months I held a much better understanding and appreciation of myself and my talents, and successfully moved into a new job and positive life dynamic.   -Coaching client
